About.
Tom Neuhauser is a seasoned professional musician specializing in piano, guitar, voice, bass, accordion, clarinet, saxophone, and mandolin. Tom started playing the piano at age five and has never stopped learning and exploring new instruments and styles. While attending Green Hope High School, Tom was active in marching band and served as clarinet section leader, receiving the Director’s Award for Band in 2001. He also received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award in 2000, and was named the Fine Arts Department Outstanding Senior in 2002. Tom continued his musical studies at Susquehanna University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Piano Concentrate. In addition to studying classical and jazz piano, he performed in the University Symphonic Band on clarinet, studied jazz guitar and taught in the University Music Preparatory Program. Tom has since performed in numerous ensembles, including the award-winning group Celtic Connection, who twice appeared at the Las Vegas House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.
Tom currently performs and teaches around North Carolina as a solo artist and with the Peak City Band.
